HELPING

The following section describes how contributions may be made to the project. You don't have to be a millionaire; you only need a generous heart for the children of the street and for all of those living in situations of high risk. There are various ways to support this project and allow it to grow, so that we may help a greater number of children.
Here we would also like to thank all of the people who have given us support, either through a financial contribution, or by working as a volunteer at IRW. Please contact us, and you could be the next on our list! Just decide...

4.1 "A FRIEND FOREVER" CAMPAIGN

We work with children that need a lot of help and affection. They also are in need of material goods, because they are very poor and have nothing. They need adequate food, clothes, school materials, money for transportation, and proper health care. IRW offers the children free education programs and runs only on charitable donations. We require many resources to adequately meet the needs of these children.

You can help us to help these children by joining the campaign and selecting a child or adolescent to help, to be your "friend forever." We will give you information about whom you support and inform you of their progress. You only have to commit to send a voluntary donation every three months or two times a year, to support your friend with an amount that you choose. We have a bank account where we receive all charitable donations.

Once a donation has been received IRW will keep you informed of the Project and will send you a personal thankyou note. Even small donations are appreciated; many people donating small quantities will withouth doubt allow IRW to triumph and secure a future for the project and its children.

4.2 "HELPING TO CONSTRUCT A PLACE TO GROW" CAMPAIGN

The children at Inti Runakunaq Wasin have a dream that we want to help realize with your help. Their dream is the construction of their OWN HOUSE for all the children and adolescents of the street, for all of those in situations of high risk. It would be a place for all of those in the streets without a place to go, where they may learn useful skills for their future. There are many children living in the streets and they need a large place, where we can set up workshops and where they can stay all day, every day of the year. The children need a place where they can grow, with love and with people they trust. They need a place where they may develop into people with strong values, with self-esteem, with dreams and hope for the future.

The IRW team frequently organizes activities to generate funds for the project. For example, we prepare foods with the children to sell at various fairs. The children also sell the products they make by hand in the workshops. However, we still have not been able to generate much money. If everyone of the people who read this contributed something, the children would soon have their house.

You are invited to send a contribution to this campaign to the IRW bank account. Indicate in a letter for what purpose you'd like the donation to be used for. A note written by the children will soon arrive, thanking you for your help.
