The idea is to build and open an "Ecological School of the New Era", for the children and adolescents of that region.  The people who live in the area are very poor, and surivive primarily on the cultivation of tea.  The Ecological Scool would educate the youth and teach them ecological concepts the use of sustainable cultivation techniques.

It also planned that children and adolescents of the city could visit the center to rediscover their rural roots.  Founder Jens Laurits Sorensen has been especially active in coordinating foreign volunteers in the task of reforestation in the region.  He also helped to create "The Project of The House of the Woman", expanded by the President of IRW, Luz Marina Figueroa and the Antropologist Ligia Alencastre Medrano.  The project continues to support women who have been victims of violence.

IRW aims to launch programs encouraging the development of personal skills and promoting the generation of income for women. They are programs directed at the prevention of the family violence and focus on families at risk, living in proverty. This project is now in search of financial support, but nevertheless the Creative House of IRW has already been visited by adolescents and young women, who have been victims of violence.
